ABOUT THE LEAGUE
Sport Fishing Championship is a professional sports fishing league with 14 angling clubs, 12 tournaments, 2 divisions and 1 championship. It was launched in an effort to showcase the sport of saltwater fishing, positively impact the local economies of our championship towns and continuously improve our championship tournaments around a championship competition.
Some of the better known team owners include: Scottie Scheffler, Raheem Mostert, Austin Dillon, and Taylor Gooch.
ABOUT LIGHTS OUT
Our team’s boat, Lights Out, is a 62’ Viking Sportfish that’s owned by Captain Rob Carmichael and wife Jackie Hayes. Rob and Jackie have worked as an entrepreneurial team since 1998 founding and building multiple successful businesses. Since 2020, Lights Out has established itself as a force in Sport Fishing Tournaments with tournament winnings from Zane Grey Cabo, CBC Carolina Billfish Classic Charlston SC, OBBC Oak Bluff Bluewater Classic, Tri-Stat Shootout, Big Game Battle Nantucket MA, Tri-State Canyon Shootout and Bluefin Blast Nantucket MA. The history of Lights Out success is what attracted Team Owner, Drew Dolben to sign Lights Out to represent the Boston Angling Club competing in the Sport Fishing Championship League.

Lights Out Boston is deeply committed to the art of fishing. We are also passionate about providing kids not only the chance to enjoy the excitement and camaraderie that comes from fishing with loved ones, but also the opportunity to learn through experience the wonders and beauty the Ocean provides. Our mission is to introduce less privileged kids to the beauty of the ocean and have them give up their video reels for a fishing reel.
